Students may call the Crisis Line if they are experiencing a current crisis. This may include, but is not limited to,

  • Intense anxiety and panic attacks
  • Hopelessness and despair
  • Manic symptoms
  • An intense reaction to a trauma or an upsetting event
  • Intense anger and rage
  • Suicidal thoughts

To call the Crisis Line, please call 855-509-5742. After hours, you may also call 631-632-6720 and dial 1.

If you or somebody else is in immediate danger, please call University Police at 631-632-3333.

If you wish to receive support, but are not in crisis, you can still use our Crisis Line. Alternatively, you may use TimelyCare’s Talk Now function at TimelyCare  and log in using your school email.
