Radha is an Alda-certified instructor. She co-leads curriculum design efforts at the Center and leads the Alda-Kavli online learning initiative. Her interest in science communication stems from her desire to make the wonders of science accessible to all, and to inspire future generations, especially girls, to pursue scientific pursuits. With the Alda Center’s multidisciplinary team, she finds joy helping scientists share their work and tell their stories to the world. A lifelong learner and educator by training, Radha has worked in different capacities in higher education, adult learning, and in the international development space for more than a decade.

Radha has been working in education and training for more than a dozen years. She has extensive experience in designing and delivering professional development learning experiences, including seven years in South Asia and Africa working on technology integration, instructional design, curriculum design, and formal and informal training programs. She has worked with universities in the United States, the International Board of Standards for Training, Performance and Instruction, National Technical Institute for the Deaf, World Bank and USAID. She has a doctorate in instructional design, development and evaluation and a master's degree in educational program evaluation from Syracuse University, and a master of education in special education from the University of Cincinnati.
