STUDENT EMPLOYEE ORIENTATION AND TRAININGS

Students working on campus for the first time will learn about work eligibility, types of positions, work hour restrictions, using Stony Brook SOLAR, and workplace etiquette.

Student employees can find training videos on developing skills in the work place and learn to recognizing their skills.

CAREER COMPETENCIES

Students who develop career competencies through experience will be able to more easily articulate their skills to impress employers, shine as more qualified candidates, and perform at a higher level in the workplace.
