2025 Chair's Colloquium
As is our tradition, our first colloquium every Fall semester is given by our Department Chair, Distinguished Professor Chang Kee Jung. At this year's event on August 26, the Chair shared department news and accomplishments from the past year, along with an overview of the research done by members of the department.

The 4th P&A Chair's Cup Soccer Tournament Champions: Condensed Matter Group
After weeks of thrilling matches, Condensed Matter triumphed in the final, grabbing the championship title after a dramatic penalty shootout against HEP. YITP, who had dominated the round robin, rounded out the podium in third place winning against Nuclear in the Small Final.
Beyond the competition, here are individual and team contributions:
MVP (Most Valuable Player): Kazuhiro Fujita
MSP (Most Scoring Player): Mathieu Boisvert
Best Goalkeeper: Abe Teklu
Fair Play Award: AMO for their sportsmanship and inclusivity
Commissioner Award: Julia Codere for foundational work in the first edition and Keyi Chen for exceptional support this year
