TODAY, April 7th at 1 PM we will have our GBM with Posillico over Zoom. Posillico is a heavy civil contractor located in Farmingdale and with projects in and around NYC. Posillico is involved in projects including drilling, wastewater treatment, site remediation, material engineering, and much more. Tomorrow March 31 at 1 PM, we will have a one of a kind GBM over Zoom. For this GBM, Dr. Paolo Celli, one of our department faculty members, will be playing Poly Bridge in our first ever Paolo Bridge event! Come to see our structural engineering professor get some vehicles to safety, and stay to learn some engineering as well. Tomorrow, Wednesday March 10th at 1 PM, professional engineers from H2M will be speaking for our GBM over Zoom. H2M is a consulting and design firm with a central office in Melville. With work in environmental, structural, and construction, and projects across the island, they seem to have something for most of us here in ASCE. Wednesday March 3rd at 1 PM, we will be having our E-Board elections for Cour Four, Extended E-Board, and Concrete Canoe Captains over Zoom! During elections, each candidate will have about two minutes to say why they would be a good choice for the position. You can nominate others for positions and you can nominate yourself.
