Roman Samulyak
Professor, Ph.D., 1999
NJIT: Applied and Computational Mathematics, Hydro- and Electrodynamics
Roman Samulyak’s research involves mathematical modeling, numerical algorithms, and
high performance computing. He works on the development of numerical algorithms based
on particles and meshes for hydro- and magnetohydrodynamics, electrodynamics, and
solid dynamics, in particular brittle fracture. His applications include processes
in particle accelerators, high energy density physics, and nuclear fusion and fission
                     devices.
