Josh is an Assistant Professor of Practice in the Alan Alda Center for Communicating Science. He is a multidisciplinary theatre artist specializing in puppetry & improvisation, and has been a practicing artist since 2003. Josh has developed Alda Method® programs for Climate Communication, Forensics Communication in Courtrooms, Communicating Science to Policymakers, and various custom curricula for clients globally.
Josh is the Co-Founder & Producing Artistic Director of Shake on the Lake and the New York State Puppet Festival, a rural-based professional theatre in Perry, NY. He holds an MFA from Sarah Lawrence College and is a member of Actor’s Equity, the union for professional actors. More at joshriceprojects.com
