Part-Time Lecturer
Contact Louisa
Louisa is a lecturer in the Department of Communication and Alda Center. She works
with the Alda Center's team of applied improvisation specialists to develop undergraduate
coursework, and teaches applied improvisation-based courses.
She received her bachelor's degree in Theater Arts and Philosophy from Stony Brook University, where she was elected to Phil Beta Kappa. She earned her master's degree from NYU Tisch in Acting. She worked as a professional actor in New York, appearing on stage and on screen, but she always felt that theater ought to serve a broader purpose.
